The plan of action was recommended by the MSME task force. The task force was set up by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last year.
He said that the Department of Science and Technology and Bio Technology have schemes that they are trying to integrate to make them appropriate and make the entrepreneurs have an advantage.
The MSME sector is a huge sector that contributes about forty five per cent of India’s total manufactured output close to forty per cent to the country’s export and employs 42 million people in the country.
