Goa govt has decided to provide entrepreneur minimum financial assistance every month. Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar on Saturday announced plans to formulate a minimum employment assurance scheme for industry under which an entrepreneur would get a minimum financial assistance of 3,000 to 4,500 per month.

Talking to entrepreneurs at a workshop organized by Goa Entrepreneurship Monitoring Services Trust, at EDC house, He diclosed several plans of the Goa government for entrepreneurs.
“ Entrepreneurs would get minimum financial assiatance of Rs 3000-4500 every month from the government” The statement added.
He also said, “ In a related development, professionals will be brought under Verghese Kurien (VK) scheme, previously known as the Chief Minister's Rojgar Yojana. “
He said, "The scheme will guarantee small but minimum employment. The government may tie up with some company, NGO or recognized firm who support ntrepreneurship." Also, a sum of 15 crore will cover 8,000 youth for the VK scheme.
