Digital Vidya, India's largest and one of Asia's leading digital marketing training firms, announces its much awaited Certified Mobile Marketing Master (CMMM) course. This program is launched in association with Vskills, a Govt. of India enterprise. Targeted at sales and marketing professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners and students, this training program will help them acquire mobile marketing skills to achieve personal and organizational growth.

According to a Jan'15 report by GlobalWebIndex, over 80% of adult Internet users own a smartphone suggesting that 2015 will be the year when the number of smartphone owners will surpass the desktop/laptop users. According to a recent Mobility Report by Ericsson, the number of mobile subscriptions in India is expected to reach to 1.4 billion by 2020. Another report by eMarketer states that global mobile ad spend will hit the milestone of US$100 billion in 2016 accounting for more than 50% of all digital ad expenditure.

This 3-month instructor-led online program on mobile marketing by Digital Vidya will enable its participants to acquire relevant skills across various aspects of mobile marketing such as creating effective mobile presence, mobile apps, mobile analytics, how to leverage mobile advertising channels, measuring ROI of mobile marketing campaigns and much more.

Speaking on the launch of this mobile marketing certification, Digital Vidya's Co-founder Kapil Nakra, said, "There are two types of businesses existing today. One that is already been disrupted by mobile and other that will be distributed by mobile very soon. At Digital Vidya, we realize that while the businesses are aware of this fact, they are not really prepared to leverage this opportunity. Therefore, we have launched this 3-month compressive course for professionals to acquire critical mobile marketing skills. This course is designed by leading mobile marketing experts who are involved in multiple mobile marketing projects."

With the recent acquisition of Digital Academy India, Digital Vidya has contributed to the success of over 11,000 professionals from over 5000 brands across Asia through over 500 digital marketing training programs. While it started its journey in India in 2009, it partnered with Vskills in Nov 2013 to offer its flagship program titled Certified Digital Marketing Master (CDMM), a 6-month instructor-led online digital marketing master certification course. Certified Mobile Marketing Master (CMMM) credential ensures that a candidate has mastered the skills to be able to successfully manage mobile marketing campaigns.

"When we started this partnership with Digital Vidya, we were confident that they would deliver on their promise. I am so glad that we are taking this relationship with Digital Vidya to the next level in establishing much needed industry standards for mobile marketing skills," said Jasneet Singh, Managing Consultant, Vskills.

Sharing his views about the program, Sanjay Mehta, Joint CEO of Social Wavelength and Mobile Jury at Cannes Lions 2015 says, "I have closely observed the growth of Digital Vidya since 2010. Digital Vidya's training programs have made a significant contribution in the growth of digital marketing industry in India. With this program in mobile marketing, Digital Vidya will further fuel the growth of digital media ecosystem in India."

Considering the ever expanding importance of mobile marketing skills and strong reach among its 10,000 plus alumni across Asia, Digital Vidya is offering the first batch of its mobile marketing course scheduled to start on July 19, 2015 as invite-only. Anyone who's interested in joining this program but not an alumnus of Digital Vidya can request for an invite to participate in this course.
