In a bid to boost to deepen its engagement with storage solutions based partners, dell has launched a new initiative Dell Consultive - A Partner Storage Summit to build and further develop the a strong tie between partners focused on storage solutions and Dell’s storage specialist.
Mr. Pradeep Devaraj, Head of Dell’s India Commercial Channel Operations, said, “The Partner Storage Summit is an initiative that validates our commitment towards a profitable partner community, as it will be an important platform to expand our joint go-to-market opportunities, understand partner issues to help them manage their closure cycles faster and create an engaged solution focused partners pool”.
This first Council at Bangalore will bring together Dell and industry storage experts with 15 key partners of Dell, to discuss key storage trends, customer pain points, partner issues and strategies and the key Dell offerings from technology as well as partner business perspectives, the release said.
Adding further, the release said that the Summit also looks to create a platform for best practice sharing and discussing key pain points through partner case studies and interactive discussions.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Harmeet Malhotra, Enterprise Solutions Marketing Director- Asia Pacific & Japan, Storage & Unified Fabric Solutions Marketing at Dell said, “Storage offers some of the biggest opportunities for business growth in the IT market and we believe we could help our partners become more profitable through a sustained understanding of storage solutions-selling.”
