Delhi-based i2e1, a smart network player platform which aims to provide low-cost and free internet to consumers and actionable analytics to providers, has raised a seed round of $500,000 led by growX ventures.
The round also saw participation from angel investors such as Mohandas Pai, Rajan Pandhare, Debasish Mitter, and Singapore Angels. IIT-Delhi, where i2e1 was incubated, is also a shareholder in the company. The platform will use the funding for ramping up operations, analytic platform and the team.
Satyam Darmora, Co-Founder, i2e1, said, "Our aim is to provide information to everyone. At i2e1, we are challenging ourselves to create a model, which will bridge the information gap for at least 500 million people over the next five to seven years. Our aim is to build a connected ecosystem where information is available to everyone, at the right time and the right place, to enable better and faster decision-making."
