CanvasFlip emerges as Hot100 Technology winner in 2014

The first edition of Hot100 Awards, a national race for grace showcasing the best technology start-ups in consumer internet, B2B and SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud) announces its 2014 Hot100 Award winners.

CanvasFlip emerges as the winner of Hot100 Technology Awards, 2014. The prestigious 2014 award is presented in association with KPMG, Microsoft Ventures, Amazon Ventures and Netmagic.

Vipul Mishra, Founder & CEO, CanvasFlip, said: "It has been great experience with HOT technology award for it's exposure, learning and constructive comparison. Accessible jury members, numerous branding platform and opportunities to meet like-minded synergic startups were added values."

CanvasFlip was started by two friends, Vipul Mishra and Manish Jha, who had earlier co-founded Yougle. CanvasFlip allows you to create a HTML5 animation without having any prior technical knowledge. 

Embodying disruptive technologies with excellence and producing breakthrough work in the technology space, the honorees celebrated evening Hot100 Awards ceremony at Orchid Ecotel in Mumbai.

Anoop Mathur, President, CORE, said: "We are excited for the winners as it is such a great time for Indian startups to scale and advance. We had 60 days of campaigning with 19975 votes and 26 Jury members to select the winners, who truly deserve the badge of honour"

Winners for the 2014 edition of the Hot100 awards are selected from a pool of hundreds from across India by the eminent Jury. Selection is made based democratic online voting basis their technological innovation, team strength, opportunity size, and product value proposition.

Sanjay Mehta, Jury Member, Angel Investor & Technology Evangelist, said: "Hot100 winners are potential hidden opportunities for investment. It was tough competition & as jury it was a challenge to pick winners. Angel Investor confidence has been steadily rising in the in India, Hot100 winner list reflects an accelerated pace of growth for technology startups."
