Ansal University announces specialized MBA in Applied Finance

Ansal University, Gurgaon, a private University with strong international collaborations has entered into a technical knowledge partnership with International College of Financial Planning (ICFP), promoted by India’s leading Financial Assessment and Investment Solutions Company Bajaj Capital  to announce a super specialized Master’s Degree in Applied Finance program.

Pranav Ansal, Trustee, Ansal University & Vice Chairman, Ansal API, Sanjiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Capital Ltd. and Prof. Raj S Dhankar, Vice Chancellor, Ansal University were present at the MOU signing ceremony.

Announcing the launch, Prof. Raj S. Dhankar, Vice Chancellor, Ansal University said, “Specialized management programs are the need of the hour as there is a growing demand for skilled manpower in verticals like Finance, Banking, Investment, Insurance and Financial Research sectors. Professionals these days must possess the right mix of analytical skills and entrepreneurial drive to excel in any field.”

The program will work on a two-tier approach of providing in-depth knowledge about application of concepts in the area of Finance & Financial Research. The specialized course has been designed to equip students with knowledge required to succeed in sectors like Banking and Financial services.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Capital Limited said, “Great talent always keeps in demand and with this tie up we are looking forward to nurture the finance sector. The banking sector may create up to 20 lakh new jobs in the next 5-10 years. 

Also, with GDP growth rate being pegged at near 5.5 per cent, after sub-five per cent growth in the recent past, businesses across sectors are expected to grow and this should result in a strong job market rally as well. We believe that Ansal & Bajaj‘s association will be fruitful for those Students looking for career options in banking and finance and they can expect a bright future.”

The 2-year degree program with an internationally relevant course module will offer hands-on training and 100% placement assistance in sectors like Banking and Financial services. It will have an intake capacity of 60 students.
