What led to the inception of Synergy Motors?

Synergy Motors is about providing premium car rental services for customers who want to go on a business trip or a personal tour. What we have added more is 24x7 availability, best price and polished services that others lack. Our customers help us to improve our service through feedbacks, regular meetings and traveler’s comments. 

What is the current number of car fleet under Synergy Motors?

Our fleet comprises over 100 cars and all owned by us. The vehicles range from Sedans to SUV and are need centric. Synergy Motors also have premium segment cars for VIPs. Each car undergoes thorough inspection and cleaning procedure inside our owned and operated garage before it leaves for the duty. This reduces the chances of breakdown during travel.

What kind of training programmes you have for drivers?

Driving an automobile requires a good physical and mental balance. Our drivers are trained for “Defensive Drive” by the expert trainers. The programme helps them in maneuvering the vehicle during unavoidable conditions like bad weather, traffic jams or sudden vehicle breakdowns. We also make sure that they rest well before sitting behind the wheels. We also carry out yoga and meditation practices for drivers to keep them stress free.    

How did you fund your venture over the years?

Initially, the idea was financially motivated by my family. My family savings supported me to set up the business. At present, based on the company performance it is getting funded by nationalized banks. 

How Synergy Motors is different from other car rental companies?

The USP of Synergy Motors is its ability to be consistent in providing on-time services and a unique travel experience. Our in-house garage and maintenance team keep our vehicles moving flawlessly at an affordable cost. This also helps us increase operational time and life span of vehicles by keeping service cost down.

How do you tackle the problem of retaining drivers?

Drivers are also human beings. They should be treated as a skilled person and that is what we do. We compensate them as per industry standards, we train them to improve their skills, and we motivate them through “Employee Welfare Initiatives” like “Employee of the Month”.

What are the major achievements of Synergy Motors?

Over the past few years, we have achieved 30-40 per cent increase in corporate customer count. Moreover, 10 per cent increase in the fleet every six months directly relates our overall revenue growth.

What are the expansion plans of your company?

We are now determined to open branches in key cities of the country. We are also planning to open Reservation Counters inside metro city airports to help us in expanding our general public customer base. We are holding talks with car rental service providers outside India on the affiliation and joint ventures abroad.
