The IT sector in India is growing exponentially and holds more than three crore job openings in the next ten years. In a conversation, Avinash Bharwani, Vice President, Jetking, talks about his brands future plans and the next move.

Brief us on the origin and concept of your brand.

In the early 90s, Suresh G. Bharwani, Chairman and Managing Director envisioned a latent opportunity in hardware and networking training. This gave birth to Jetking and we went on to being India’s premier computer hardware and networking training institute. Jetking entered in computer and hardware training from a small learning center at Sewri, Mumbai. Unlike other startups, this was not sailing smooth as the initial phase was quite challenging. Lack of awareness among target audience about future prospects in hardware and networking field required a lot of persuasion and education. However consistent perseverance and dedication by the founders helped to clear initial hurdles and after three years of operations,  first franchise center was opened at Thane in Mumbai. From there, the journey began and today Jetking has more than 100 centers across India training 40,000 students every year.

What kind of franchise opportunity are you offering?

With more than 40 + courses along with our flagship courses JCHNP & MNA, franchisees can train students with a non-technical or technical background that gives them a huge market to train students for our programs. However, it is important for a franchisee to not only invest but also keep up the determination to run and manage the center which gives him an excellent RoI and breakeven as early as one and a half year.

What kind of training and support do you provide to your franchisees?

Jetking has developed its proprietary and award winning franchisee first support mechanism which helps a franchisee to start a center from scratch. We help franchisees from identification of location to infrastructure development, hiring of center staff, marketing and training of each employee till the final launch. There is an ongoing support and training that regularly keeps happening to support franchisees on every front such as sales, training, placement, business planning, finance and media planning.
