Sartorial elegance camouflaged in distinctive colours and fabric is what defines Camouflaage Fashion Pvt. Ltd. Anssar Querreshi, Director of the enterprise shares his vision to spread fashion all over the world by expanding the brand via franchising.

Tell us about Camouflaage Fashion Pvt. Ltd.

I and Kirthi Querreshi launched the design studio Camouflaage two decades ago, when India was in the nascent stage of the couture era. What started off with a singular passion has evolved over the years into a fascinating journey. Today, we have a list of elite clientele in India as well as abroad.

When and why did you start franchising?

We started franchising in the year 2014. We have chosen franchise route in order to expand our business all over India and overseas.

A word on your brand presence.

Camouflaage couture is synonymous with exquisite coloUrs, silhouettes, fabrics, weaves, embellishments and embroideries. Apart from India, we have our presence in UK, Canada and South Africa.

What are your expansion plans via franchising?

We are seeking expansion on pan-India basis. We wish to tap states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamilnadu. We endeavour to expand our operations outside India too.

What sort of training and support do you provide to your franchisees?

We provide all technical, marketing and sales training at the franchise locations and also support in aspects like, strong branding, training programmes, ongoing operational support, marketing assistance, real estate assistance, construction assistance and purchasing power.

Where do you see your brand five years down the line?

Five years from now, with Camouflaage building strong customers across India and abroad, we will have the highest market share in the value retail women’s ethnic wear segment.
