The secret behind their successful emergence is their unique business concepts catering to the needs of the customers and clients, the zeal to progress, passion to excel, and dedication to achieve optimum success. Dominant sectors

Let us have a look at the emerging players from some of the dominant sectors.  
These sectors include Education and pre-schools, Financial services, Food &Beverage (F&B), Apparel and accessory brands, Cartridge, Automotives, and Gifts and toys. Read on to find out which sector plays a leading role in the list of emerging brands.

Pre-school and education sector: The education sector is the leading category in which 10 players are from pre-schools and schools sections. This emerging trend is a clear indication that the concept of pre-schools and play schools have gained huge acceptance across India and especially among the Indian parents. The pre-school business is expected to touch $3,426 million by 2012 and has a growth of 28.3 per cent annually. The education sector including schools and training institutes like Billabong High International School, Zee High (Zee learn), AISECT (computer centres in semi-urban and rural regions), Frameboxx, Orion Calltech and Promise (guidance and counseling for students) are also on the rise.

Financial and consulting service centres: This sector occupies the second leading position in the emerging franchisors’ category. With increasing craze among people for luxury cars and homes and easy availability of loans offered by financial organisations, this sector has emerged significantly. Moreover the arising trend of investing money in shares has given a boost to franchising in brokerage and consultancy companies. ICICI Securities, Share Khan, Safexpress are some emerging companies in the sector which are franchising successfully.

Food and beverage sector: With increased number of people preferring to dine out and spend more on eating the right kind of food, this sector has gained tremendous popularity in almost in every category. Therefore, taking a franchise of any food brand can guarantee good returns as usually people enjoy spending money on eating good food. Brands like Dosa Plaza, Slice of Italy and Coffee Day Express occupy the prominent place in this sector.

Apparel and accessory sector: Apparels and accessories sector in today’s scenario provide lucrative franchising opportunities with people willing to spend adequate amount of money on clothes and accessories. Ashika fashion wear and Hasbro Clothing are included in the apparel sector while Titan eye+ (eyewear segment of Titan industries)and Gitanjali Group’s , gold and diamond jewellery brands like D’damas, Nakshatra, Asmi, Sangini, World of Silver and many others fall under emerging jewellery and accessories franchise concepts. These all are predicted to become the top established franchise players in years to come.
