Kid'z Gurukul is one of the leading kids’ education company aspiring to provide ‘first step in education to kids’ with a difference. Parveen Arya, Director, Kid’z Gurukul talks at length about this recession free business that has luring factors like low investment yielding high returns and easy working hours attached to it.

Tell us about Kid’z Gurukul.

Kid'z Gurukul is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company which provides three in one business module i.e.; Preschool, Daycare and Activity Classes under one roof. Kid’z Gurukul is a venture of Pragati Intellectual Learning (P) Ltd. We are one of the leading kids’ education company providing ‘first step in education to kids’ with a difference. We provide theme based pre-schools, day care and activity classes such as handwriting improvement, handwriting speed, smart classes and abacus.  We will introduce Dance, Art and Craft, Painting and Memory Enhancement courses shortly.

What are different formats of franchising offered by you?

We started franchising in 2013. We have three franchise models; Master Franchise, Area Franchise and Unit Franchise.

Any comments on expansion?

Presently we have 10 activity centers and five preschools. We wish to expand our business on pan-India basis. We are looking forward to have more than 200 centers in India five years down the line.

What sort of training and support do you provide to your franchisees?

We render continuous support and guidance to our franchisees assisting them with every conceivable issue that may arise during setting up or running a Kid’z Gurukul branch. We offer interior support by providing interior designing manual, paint codes, designs and guidance on furniture and fixtures while ensuring minimum wastage of materials. Technical, recruitment and marketing assistance is also provided.

Any plans to foray into high school/senior secondary education?  

Yes, we wish to extend our venture. We plan to upgrade our classes from 2016 onwards.

Share a word on your prospective franchisees.

Our motto is to make people experienced and help them prosper in preschool business and make for themselves a respectable place in society. Our methodology is especially suited for women who want to grow socially and financially. Our target group is entrepreneurs, housewives and school associates.
