Incorporated in 2015 by Thirumal Raj, Saran Vel, Lakshmi Raj and Madhu Saran in Chennai, intending to establish a sustainable place in the beauty and wellness industry. ABC Clinic completely transform the customers in terms of hair loss, skin rejuvenation and weight loss treatments. In an exclusive interview Thirumal Raj, Director, ABC Clinic shares about his strategic growth planning of the brand.

Please tell us about your journey.

I started my professional journey with Cognizant for over a decade before initiating ABC Clinic. My idea was to establish a brand that is trusted and is unequivocally chosen by everyone. Currently, I envision in driving the brand to emerge as a market leader in the country’s cosmetic and beauty industry.

Tell us about your unique services?

Our services are unique as compared to other players. We also customize lot of treatments to our customers for faster results. Under Advanced Beauty & Cosmetic Clinic, we have three services brands for hair, skin and slimming treatments. Advanced Grohair is a one stop hair loss treatment solution provider that caters to hair transplant, instant cosmetic hair replacement, PRP hair loss treatment, laser hair re-growth therapy. Maya Skin Clinic offers skin rejuvenation treatments with latest skincare technology. Minus Cosmetic Clinic offers superlative cosmetic treatments to the customers for fat reduction through advanced Cryolipolysis.

Tell us about your business model?

We follow clinical based treatments, as our doctors are very well trained and certified from international aesthetic bodies. Today each clients has a different problems and we provide solutions specific treatment to our client, where our doctors first analyses the problems area and provide the best treatment customized for the clients.

What are the major growth drivers of your brand?

In India, the market for our business is very high and increasing day by day. And the people, who are thinking to position themselves to the society, are the market drivers. At ABC, our efforts are focussed on all people who are well aware about the delay in taking action to treat problems such as loss of hair, fat reduction. Similarly, beauty salon customers are migrating from product based solutions to clinical solutions where the customers are treated by the dermatologist.

What criteria do you follow for electing franchisees on board?

We partner with people who have the passion towards aesthetic business with strong vision to grow with our brand.

What training and support do you offer to your franchisees?

ABC Clinic offers complete support through marketing, technology, staffs and operations. As we are a technology driven clinic, use Virtual Cloud telephony system to map all our business leads and a Cloud based Clinic Management software to control the various process of the clinic including inventory of our consumables product.

All our potential partners are provided with vigorous training about our business. We also train people on these skills and supply large number of trained staffs to our franchisee.

What did you choose the franchise route for your expansion?

Our plan to expand via franchising route is because of the market size and demand which is growing day by day. Franchise model is a better way to grow fast and to reach local customer base. Even our resident franchise partner understands the customer well locally and customer service is the key to our business.

At present, we are targeting for pan India and looking forward to open 20 more clinics by the next year.
